These are just a few random thoughts.
Nick Cannon is the new host on America's Got Talent. I had no problems with him before this, I saw the movie where he was in the drum line, besides that I knew little about him except for his marriage. As I have watched him on AGT he has become more and more annoying. He can not read for one, his voice overs for the cut scene are horrid. He has a very strange and almost scary smile. His open hand extended arm waving people onto the stage is very kindergarten playish.
He does basically the same opening stance every week. Mainly though it is horrid voice overs and that smile that turns me off BIG TIME.
I think Paula leaving American Idol and now Ellen coming on is the beginning of the end. As soon as I saw the fourth and new female judge I said that that would be Paula's last year. As it turns out it was, possibly totally her and her new agent's fault. After losing Paula they picked Ellen, someone who I have never really liked or hated. I just think after watching her judge on So You Think You Can Dance last season; (was that her audition for AI?) that she will be the one who gets blamed for killing the ratings giant. I totally give it up for AI being massive, massive on TV and in sells of everything under the sun. I thought the addition of a fourth judge was totally unnecessary and in fact seemed to give the smoothly running show quite a problem with timing. At least with Ellen I think most of the audience knows who she is before she comes on the show. I am just afraid that after the AT&T blunder in free phones for texting for Kris Allen, most people I know think Adam Lambert won except for AT&T's cheating. The vote with losing Paula and getting Ellen the show has two or three season's left.
Health care is a major concern for everyone. I truly believe the President is trying to change our health care system for the better. I am also so tired of hearing people bitch about this as being like the end of days, the worse possible thing to happen. If you listen to these people for just a second you quickly become aware they have no real clue on what the President is suggesting or how it will affect them. They a
re just afraid of any major change and all they know to do about it is bitch. Then you have the out and out lie's in the media in the form of ad's. I would hope most people can see through this waste of air space. If you are going to bitch about it at least do a little research on it, and watching our joke of news in this country does not count. Our news system in the nation is a total joke, you can basically tell which side of the isle each shows owner sits on within the first 2 minutes. Impartial news, a concept that we lost in this country years ago, a shame.
